The Cottage

The cottage is over two floors. Knockanbuie is an old, refurbished farmhouse, it has lots of character with thick stone walls, modern oak and slate flooring and coombed ceilings upstairs. 

Stay cosy with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and a wood burning stove in the living room. There is one king sized bed downstairs, upstairs there is a second king sized bed and a twin bedroom.

Ground Floor:

Kitchen

Fully equipped and modern with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric hob, electric oven and multi-oven, kettle and toaster. Fully equipped with crockery, glassware, cookware and utensils. Dining table for 6 is in the kitchen. 

Off the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine and loo room beyond. 

Living Room

A comfortable living room with seating for 6 on a corner sofa, poufee, cushioned window seat, single arm chair, coffee table, a 50" Smart TV, wood burning stove with kindling and logs provided. Toys, games, books, puzzles. Views north and south with a door into the garden. 

Master Bedroom

King sized bed made up with Egyptian Cotton sheets. Wardrobe with hangers, a chest of drawers, extra bedding, blanket and hair dryer. Large, fluffy towels, views south and west over garden and farmland.

Bathroom

Family bathroom with a slate floor and underfloor heating. Large heated towel rail, over bath shower, large bath, loo and sink, complimentary scottish made soap and bubble bath.

First floor: 

Twin room

Two single beds made up with Egyptian Cotton sheets. Wardrobe with hangers, chest of drawers, extra bedding and blankets. Large, fluffy towels and lovely views to the Highland mountains in the north and south over the Nairn valley. 

Double bedroom

King sized bed made up with Egyptian Cotton sheets. Wardrobe with hangers, a chest of drawers, extra bedding and blanket. Large, fluffy towels and windows looking north to the Highland mountains and south over farmland and the Nairn River valley. 

Outside

Generous, gravelled space for parking, picnic table and paved area within a large garden. Rural views in all directions.
