Knockanbuie is in a quiet, rural spot which is rich in history and outdoor activities. 

Within easy reach of the coast, shops, transport links, Inverness and The Highlands. 

The cottage is in a rural location so it would be best to have your own transport.

There is a large area for parking with no charges or restrictions and a large, enclosed garden.

Nairn is 4 miles away and has supermarkets, banks, fuel stations, restaurants, shops, cafés, swimming pools, golf courses and beaches.

Directions

By private transport

From Inverness head out on the A96, in the Aberdeen direction, towards Nairn. 2 miles after the airport roundabout take a right turn onto the B9090 towards Cawdor. In the next small village, called Clephanton, turn left onto the B9091. Follow this road for 2 miles. In the trees you will pass Milton of Kilravoch, Woodlands of Kilravoch, then the forestry ends on the right at Blairnafade farm track and Knockanbuie is the next track on the right.

From the airport take the exit heading for Inverness and the A96. At the A96 roundabout take the first exit (left) heading towards Nairn then follow the From Inverness directions above.

From Nairn head out of the town on the A96 towards Inverness. 1.5 miles after you have left the town take a left, it is signed for Delnies caravan and camping site. Follow this road until you come to a T-junction, turn right onto the B9091. Follow for 2 miles, passing Barrow Campsite, Embroidery Design, Tomlurquhart Farm then Knockanbuie will be on your left. 

By public transport

Inverness Airport and Train Station are 6 miles away, Nairn Train and Bus Stations are 4 miles away. 

We would recommend hiring a car. Car hire companies are based at the airport and in Inverness city.
